Hannah Yi is a Korean-American illustrator born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.
As an only child, she spent most (probably, all) of her time growing up reading, drawing, drawing, and drawing.
As a huge admirer of animals, her first love for many years was visiting the local farm as a child and sketching the horses.
This grew into working on realistic watercolor paintings (scientific and wildlife illustration in particular), which turned into a curiosity and then passion for cartooning.
She has had several years of professional experience in graphic design and digital illustration, providing magazine advertisements, logo design, and game character design.
Showcasing her illustrations and animatics, she gained amassed over 240,000 followers in under a year on various social media platforms, most notably Instagram. (@heartstriingz)
